DECLUTTERING TIPS FOR YOUR HOME, OFFICE AND LIFE
DECLUTTERING TIPS FOR YOUR HOME, OFFICE AND LIFE Home-organizing: create an uncluttered home Everyone could benefit from a more organized, clutter-free life. Being organized makes things easier and your time more efficient. What’s more, you also get to have more time to spend with your loved ones. It is in the interest of not just your sanity, but of your family, children ad love-life that you get organized.
TIPS TO DE-CLUTTER/UNCLUTTER YOUR HOMEEvery time you leave a room, leave with something that would make it look cleaner. It could be a piece of trash, or a sock that was on the floor. I devised a means to de-clutter my book shelves by getting rid of unwanted paper. Over the years and throughout my student years and my career, I have managed to keep stacks of paper that was perhaps useful at the time, but is now just paper. I made a resolution to destroy and throw away 10 pieces/pages of no-longer-useful paper a day. I have also resolved to go through one old magazine a week, to check for and store useful information, and throw it away. DECLUTTER YOUR OFFICEClutter does not only manifest in terms of objects, but also in terms of e-mails at home and in the office. Take simple, workable and manageable steps to get rid of old, no longer useful e-mails. You could resolve to thoroughly read an e-mail or two per day, decide whether to save it and where, or delete it. With the clothing cupboards, you have to give away something for every certain number of items you add. For those who already have too much stuff, you have to take out something every time you add another. For others it could be replacing one with 2 or 1 with five. The choice is yours.
