We talk about Valentine allergies and their possible remedies While Valentine's day is, for most couples, a day to celebrate their love and remind each other of how special they are, most other couples catch some real Valentine fever and allergies as one partner refuses to 'buy into' the true meaning of Valentine's day. *Allergy #1: Everyday is a special day and we don't need Valentine's day to show each other how much we care Remedy: This is a beautiful excuse for not celebrating Valentine's day; however, most people don't really 'show one another that they care' - at least not everyday. If your partner really does show you in other ways that they care - everyday - then you may consider giving up the Valentine fantasy. *Allergy #2: There's nothing special in it for us, it's not our day - it's everyone else's Remedy: Fine, then let us choose a special day that will be 'our day' honey. And we are not talking about birthdays or anniversaries. Now that's fair, isn't it? *Allergy #3: It's all a huge commercial exercise/scam Remedy: Hahahaha; look who's talking!. Whatever happened to hand-written love letters and self-made cards! What about hand-picked flowers and that special time together honey? All of these things don't cost a penny. My advice: Even if you don't like the idea, I don't think it hurts to do something that your loved one would appreciate, just as long as it does not hurt you - and it wont. In fact, disregarding his/her feelings is an act of aggression - passive aggression. Do the noble thing, and seek to understand first. ............................................. ............................................. 2. Put your money where your heart is this Valentine! Ok, I know that it doesn't have to involve finances, but for those that can afford it, is it really possible to love someone (or something for that matter e.g. your car), without spending some money on it? If you can afford it and would like to give a lasting gift of love and opportunity, we do have Valentine specials going on at Sitesell.
